Shi Lin

Monday, July 31, 2017
Shi Lin is a Taiwanese restaurant with modern, streamlined Chinese interiors. We see abundant droplights of varying styles, and show shelves to fill blank spaces of walls.  Comfy seats came with tall back rests, and couches with pillows by the wall. The area is open, and you can easily call the attention of staff.
Few outdoor dining tables.
The kitchen is hidden behind a traditional neighborhood house enclosure of sort.
Table setting with plates, cups, chopsticks, and condiments.
Stir-fry Taiwanese Spinach: Php170
Steamed Fish with Soy Sauce: Php210
Double Boiled Beef Soup: Php118
Cool Almond Jelly with Lychee: Php108
Tea: Php155/pot
Shi Lin Fried Chicken (half): Php380

Remarks:

  • We liked the Fried chicken, Steamed fish, and Spinach.
  • The Almond Jelly was similar to North Park's but less exciting.
  • Beef Soup served to us was too salty.
