Solibao Restaurant in Heritage Mansion Hotel, Baguio City is a testament to the beauty of old Filipino traditions and cultural charm. Even with the stark-flat-white lights, the dark walls and handsome fixtures still manage to take you back to the old opulence of the heritage mansion.
Hotel entry. Solibao occupies the left wing of the frontage.
With old and older stuff in the mix, expect a casual vibe and curious tourist diners. Large ceiling mouldings beautifully match the columns.
Interesting bolero of some sort, made with leaves/feathers were pinned on the wall. Overall, the place looks a bit disorganized - just a teeny bit. And the very old chair cushions were kinda disconcerting.
Condiments per table
Pork Sinigang: Php230
Pinakbet: Php225
Inihaw na Baboy (Grilled Pork): Php220
Puto Bumbong: Php45

  • We like the old world charm. The furniture, walls, and floors were dark so dirt is a minor issue. Out of sight, out of mind.
  • Food was great. Flavorful and very reasonably priced.
  • Staff were nice and friendly.
  • One of Baguio's famous restaurants - well worth a try.
