Evergreen Place Hotel Bangkok

Evergreen Place Hotel, Bangkok:

Evergreen Place Hotel is tucked in the middle of Bangkok central but feels like a very private, quiet property. About a minute walk from 7-11 Phaya Thai Road, and into a one-vehicle wide street, would lead to the entry of Evergreen Place Hotel.
The hotel features a well-maintained pool with numerous lounge chairs.
Staff are very accommodating and always present at their posts, be it the guard, bell boy, or attendant.
The hotel is delicately designed, with touches of cultural colors, photos, and flowers. About two PCs are free to use for hotel guests. Just inform the reception and give your room number. There is Wi-Fi access in rooms, though. They provide a username/password for you.
Sofas and chairs on the lobby for passing time, with some magazines nearby
There are 3 groups of seating areas in the lobby

One side of the hotel has the pool view, while the other gets the city view.

Perfect color contrast - blue pool and green grass
The hotel gym has treadmills, bikes, and maybe weights. I didn't get to try any. I opted for their 'authentic' Thai Foot Massage for THB250 for 1-hour. It was pleasant and relaxing. I gave a THB100 tip.
Each room comes with complimentary breakfast at their restaurant. It's a buffet service here at 'The Coffeeshop'. Room Service is from 6:30AM to 9:30PM, restaurant is open until 10PM.
Most guests take the outer area, where most of the food are. But this inner dining area has more table and comfy chairs, and less people.

This is the first area of the restaurant where most guests eat. Sometimes the staff doesn't bother to check your breakfast stub, but take it with you anyway 'coz they might ask for it.
Fruits and Salad counter

Cereals, Milk, and Juice counter
There are hash browns, dimsum, soups.
Bread, toasts, jams, butter, with toaster and oven at hand
Viands counter. They serve a variety of viands, including, perhaps in rotation, fish (steamed or fillet), beef or pork with sauces or vegetables, chicken dishes.

Step outside the restaurant and there's a split of floors. This mezzanine goes to the private rooms for the Spa (massages), while the upper floor goes to the swimming pool.

Wat Traimit near Chinatown
The hotel gives complimentary half-day tours to their guests. You have to inform the front desk upon arrival so they can tell the tour operators. There 3 tours to choose from - The Temple Tours, The River Market (Canal) Tour, and the Grand Palace Tour.
  Wat Pho
We chose the Temple Tours. Guests have a choice of time between 8:30AM to 12:30noon OR 12:30noon to 4:30PM. We opted for the 12:30noon tour. The operator came on time with an Air-Conditioned Van. We stopped by another hotel to pick up other guests but they cancelled, so the whole van was ours.
Wat Benchamabophit
The tour guide was very nice and informative. Obviously used to foreign jests and talks. She bought tickets for us in every temple (inclusive) and gave us each a mineral water for the trip. The last stop was a Gem Factory, but we didn't buy anything, even after much *much persuasion from the attendant assigned to us.
